Since 2010 onwards, we have started Preventive clinics in MESMedical college Hospital under the department of Paediatrics and Community Medicine. Expert Doctors and Paramedical Staff are available in Preventive clinic throughout 24 hours.The following facilities are available in the Preventive Clinic:
Immunisation Programmes
We are conducting free immunization (IUP) for children under 5 years on every Monday ,Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Counselling facilities are available for
Health Education
Health education on communicable and non-communicable diseases, breast feeding, growth monitoring, nutrition and child development.
Family Welfare
The major functions we undertake under Family Welfare Scheme are Family planning and child rearing
Anti rabies vaccination
Anti rabies vaccination and immunoglobulin are made available to those category of patients who are suspected to have been infected with rabies.
